I'd use guidelines making a triangular shape in that, having the pointy end at his feet and open at the top. It also helps to put in lines sometimes where the joints are to match up with the perspectiveiness. :P I don't know.

foreshortening (the name of this type of perspective) isnt really too bad. you've got a good start at it. if you dont want the angle to look like its above him, looking down, you dont have to make his feet/legs any smaller than the rest of his body proportion. but your doin good. keep it up ;)

Ahhh, seeing as I'm not an artist, I can't offer any advice on perspective. ^^; But I hope you get better with it! (: This piece looks good enough, in my opinion. Good job!

Its kinda like forshorting... Or whatever that is. Things up close look bigger than things further back.
^^; We're kinda starting on our self portraits and that's the only way I know what I was talking about... ^^;
